1. Is Big Bang Edge Test different from other tests?

Yes, it is quite different in terms of paper format, marking system, evaluation method. In fact it is scientifically designed and aligned with actual exams with the objective to assess a student in greater details, measure their true potential and also benchmark it with other students across India.

2. How do we ascertain the efficacy of the test?

The efficacy & accuracy of tests depends on the experience of the conducting body, design and format of such evaluation, process followed for evaluation, number of students appearing in the test (sample size), forecast vs actual of past evaluation. FIITJEE has been conducting such kind of tests for years now and it is the most reliable, process driven, exhaustive, scientifically designed test available in India. In fact FIITJEE was the first institute to introduce Aptitude and IQ section in the test – to measure the true potential of a child who lacks subjects skills but possesses inherent skills.

3. Is Big Bang Edge Test a selection test or an admission test or a scholarship test?

It’s fundamentally a self-evaluation test. Objective is to discover oneself and accordingly choose a career. However students who wishes to study at FIITJEE eSchool can enroll into classroom program and earn scholarship based on their performance. So, it’s a mix of all rolled in to one exam.

4. Who can appear in Big Bang Edge Test?

Students currently studying in Grade 5 and upto Grade 11.

5. What will be the mode of this test?

It will be held in Offline Mode across India. Students will have to go to designated/assigned test centre to appear in the test. However if anyone is desirous of appearing in the test in Online mode, then they will have to register for the test under FIITJEE eSchool and appear in the test from home in proctored mode.

6. Is there any offline test centre outside India?

No. Students residing outside India can take the test in Online mode in proctored form their from home.

7. What will be the syllabus of the test?

8. Will the exam be conducted in school?

The exam will be conducted at neutral venues (called Big Bang Edge Test Centre) in offline mode or in online mode (proctored test from home). However, if any school is desirous of conducting the test exclusively for their students at their premises as per Big Bang Edge’s National Schedule, then please write to us at alliances@fiitjee-eschool.com

9. What would be the paper pattern?

10. What is the last date for registration?


  • Test Date: 22nd October 2023
    • FIITJEE Student : 30th September 2023 (without registration Fee)
    • Non FIITJEE Student : 20th October 2023 (with registration Fee)

  • Test Date: 29th October 2023
    • FIITJEE Student : 30th September 2023 (without registration Fee)
    • Non FIITJEE Student : 27th October 2023 (with registration Fee)

11. What is the duration of the test?

Class 5, 6 & 7 (going to 6, 7 & 8 respectively) – will have 1 paper of 3 hours. Whereas classes 8, 9, 10 & 11 (going to 9, 10, 11 & 12) – will have 2 papers of 3 hours each.

12. I am studying in class IX, is it mandatory to attempt both the papers?

Yes

13. How will I get my test result?

The result will be published online. Please visit www.fiitjee-eschool.com as per below grid
  • Class 8 and 10: 7th November 2023
  • Class 7 and 9: 8th November 2023
  • Class 5, 6 and 7: 9th November 2023

14. There is no information in school about this test so how can we participate from school?

15. I am a NRI student, can I participate?

Yes

16. Is there any book available so that I can prepare for this test?

No. If you have read your NCERT books properly it should sufficient.

17. What will be the requirements for online exam?

A desktop with webcam or a laptop with inbuilt camera or mobile or a tab; good and stable internet connection, power backup, well lit room.

18. I do not have any Laptop & Tab; Can I attempt the test on mobile?

Yes

19. When will I get my admit card?
